2. Personal Data We Process
Depending on how you use our services, the following categories of data may be processed:
- Identity: first name, surname, title
- Contact: phone, e-mail, sender/recipient address
- Customer transactions: shipment and tracking number, order contents, delivery records, collection details
- Physical premises security: camera recordings at our branches and warehouses
- Transaction security: IP address, cookie records, site usage logs
- Request/complaint management: information you submit through support and quote forms
- Visual records: delivery photograph and signature taken at handover
3. Purposes of Processing
- Carrying out the transport and delivery service and getting the shipment to the recipient
- Managing shipment tracking, notifications and customer information processes
- Evaluating quote requests and managing contractual processes
- Invoicing, collection and keeping accounting records
- Fulfilling customs, export/import and other statutory obligations
- Following up requests, complaints and damage claims
- Carrying out information security, legal compliance and audit activities
4. Legal Grounds
Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK:
- Being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract
- Being mandatory for the data controller to fulfil a legal obligation
- Being mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right
- Being mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject
- Being expressly provided for by law
- Obtaining your explicit consent where none of the above conditions apply
5. Transfer of Personal Data
Where required by the service and by legislation, your personal data may be transferred to contracted carriers and courier companies, customs brokers, warehousing and distribution partners, IT and infrastructure service providers, independent audit and accountancy firms, and authorised public institutions.
For international shipments, your data may be transferred to carriers and customs authorities in the destination country so that delivery can take place. Such transfers are carried out in accordance with the conditions in Article 9 of the KVKK.
6. Method of Collection
Your personal data is collected by automated and non-automated means through the forms on our website, our call centre, e-mail correspondence, branch and field operations, shipment documents and our electronic systems.
7. Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for as long as required for the purpose for which it is processed and for the limitation periods set out in the relevant legislation. At the end of that period your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
8. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
- Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data is transferred
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurately processed data
- Request deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in the law
- Request that correction, deletion and destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred
- Object to a result to your detriment arising from analysis carried out solely by automated systems
- Claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing
9. How to Apply
You may submit your requests in writing to our address, to our registered electronic mail (KEP) address, or from the e-mail address registered in our system to [kvkk@alanadiniz.com], in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Your application is concluded within 30 days at the latest.
